Venue specifications
Capacity
The Understudy can accommodate up to 300 guests in a variety of formats.
For groups of 9-60 people, we can reserve you an area either inside or out on our terrace.
For groups of 60-120, we can offer you exclusive use of the main bar, or a larger area outside (uncovered).
For up to 300 people, you are welcome to enjoy the main bar and covered outside terrace.
Our terrace can accommodate up to 600, but isn’t covered, so you’re at the mercy of London’s weather.
Food and drink
Expect bold, crowd-pleasing menus from some of London’s best-loved street food vendors, curated by KERB. The bar features cocktails on tap by Black Lines, a wide selection of craft beers, and a generous range of low- and no-alcohol options – everything you need to create a party atmosphere that suits all tastes.
Opening times
The Understudy has a licence to open until 12am, Monday–Wednesday or 1am Thursday–Saturday. The licence covers until 10pm on Sundays.
